My wife and I have Audiovox cell phones on Verizon wireless plans and have been pleased with both the phones and the plan.

This was from an information sheet that came with an order for cell phone battery rechargers (from an independent vendor) for our vehicles so we could use the cigarette lighters to charge our cell phone batteries.

This company shipped their order quickly and we have been pleased with their products.

Ni-Cd (Nickel Cadmium) the most common type of battery cell is used in cellular phone, camcorder, laptop, and radio batteries. These are the most inexpensive rechargeable batteries, but they are notorious for building a "memory effect" if not fully discharged before re-charging. A battery that suffers from memory effect, also known as "voltage depression", will appear to be fully charged but will only last a short time. Often a repetitive discharge followed by a charge (3 to 4 times in a row) will correct this problem.

Ni-MH (Nickel Metal Hydride) is becoming a popular choice of cellular phone and laptop users, because these batteries have a higher capacity and are virtually memory free. These batteries do not need to be discharged every time before recharging. However, Ni-MH batteries can be damaged from heat by overcharging and typical life span is shorter than that of a Ni-Cd battery.

Li-ion (Lithium Ion) batteries are quickly becoming the choice of anyone who is looking for long life and slim size wrapped into one. Availability is limited to top end cellular phones and laptop computers. These batteries offer the highest capacity and the lightest weight.

mAh (Milliamp Hours) is a measurement used for rating the potential power of battery cells. A battery with a higher mAh rating provides longer talk time and standby time for your cellular phone. Higher mAh ratings usually mean a thicker battery. However, an Ni-MH battery will have a higher mAh rating than a Ni-Cd of the same size, because it stores energy more efficiently. Li-ion batteries are the most efficient batteries available and will pack the same amount of power in an even smaller and lighter battery. sells only the highest quality Ni-MH and Li-ion batteries. High quality battery chargers, designed for easy use and prolonged battery life are also available as well as cellular phone accessories, offers wholesale direct prices and a 6 month warranty on all items. "

Congratulations on your purchase of our Ni-MH or Li-ion battery! Our Ni-MH and Li-ion batteries are highly resistant to "memory effect" which impairs the performance of Ni-Cd batteries. However, for maximum battery life and performance you should condition your new battery by following the simple instructions below.

Battery conditioning:
1) Fully charge battery
2) Use battery until power is COMPLETELY drained
3) Repeat this procedure at least twice

You may now charge your battery at will and not worry about "memory effect." To further increase battery life recondition the battery once a month.

Ni-MH batteries can be damaged by overcharging. Protect your batteries by only using our charger or your original charger.
Please dispose of old batteries properly. Batteries may explode in fire.
